The Lädine has been sailing on the Großer Alpsee since 2003. The “Santa Maria Loreto” is a passenger ship under sails that was built on the model of a medieval cargo ship. It is 12 meters long, 3.20 meters wide and can accommodate a maximum of 25 passengers in addition to a two-man crew. In the summer season (15 May to 15 October) the ship starts two to three times a day for a one-hour round trip across the Great Alpsee near Immenstadt / Allgäu. The highlight of this tour is of course the lake and the Gschwend waterfall. Start at the Rieder Straße car park between the school camp and Landhaus Waigel. Right across the parking lot. There is a path downhill. This is the hiking trail. Bissle is hidden, so be careful, there is a sharp left to the waterfall. I've been there several times and always all alone. A wonderfully mystical place.
