The miniature park is located next to the defensive walls, near the Grudziądz Gate, in the Park of Remembrance and Tolerance. Dr. Rydygier.
The initiator of its creation was the Association for the Protection and Promotion of Cultural Heritage of the Chełmno Land "Sclavinia". The idea of establishing the park refers to the tradition of the Teutonic Order, which established a network of fortified castles in the Chełmno Land in the 13th century. After the fall of the order, these objects were taken over by Poles or fell into ruin, so that some of them are even difficult to locate. It is difficult to recreate the original appearance of some locks. Hence, the creation of a miniature is preceded by a painstaking and thorough analysis of the sources in order to scrupulously and faithfully reflect the architectural form. This difficult task was undertaken by Mr. and Mrs. Bernadetta and Zenon Firyn from Świecie, who are also the makers of the models. Currently, the park has nine miniatures of castles from: Radzyń Chełmiński, Bierzgłów, Grudziądz, Papowo Biskupie, Kurzętnik, Rogóźno, Toruń, Pokrzywno and the high castle from Malbork. They are all made on a 1:30 scale
The park is currently managed by the Chełmno Land Museum Foundation.
