Three gigantic wind turbines dominate the top of this ridge. They are easily accessible from the asphalt road to Pico Alto by walking the last part on a dirt road. There are information boards about the vegetation and the small animals that live here. But especially the view here is phenomenal!
There is an easy-to-walk path across the ridge between the wind turbines. An information center has been set up in the former school building in the nearby hamlet of Pico Alto. This is not indicated anywhere in a typical Portuguese way, but since the hamlet consists of only a dozen houses, it can still be found. It is located on the northeast side of the village.
