Not only is the altar black, but so is the Madonna. The interior of this chapel is different from the usual image. There are 3 large altarpieces, but the walls are otherwise very plain, with no paintings, etc. There are also no colored windows. From the outside, it fits beautifully into the center of this small town with its lovingly tended garden.
