Former priory of the abbey of Saint-Amant-de-Boixe, the church was built in the 11th and 12th centuries but was remodeled at various times, starting in the 13th century. It was undoubtedly also fortified during the Hundred Years War and transformed again in more recent times (construction of the wall separating the nave from the choir). In 1876, brick reconstruction of the vault of the nave which had collapsed. The single-nave building ends in the east with a semicircular apse and in the west with a square bell tower-porch placed in front of the early church. The nave is undoubtedly the oldest part of the building. The choir was adorned, a posteriori, with nine large blind arcades, separated by engaged columns adorned with capitals with hooks and foliage. The bell tower-porch shelters, on the ground floor, the old portal made up of three arches, each decorated with a sausage which falls on a column with a carved capital.
