At the marked place no well can be found. I drove past five times. Later we searched for the Bruchbrunnen and found it. The sign says: Also known as the Picture Tree Fountain.

At information board 3, the steep ascent to the left up to the rock plateau is worthwhile.
The field name here is lime kiln.
There is much to suggest that lime was burned here in earlier times and was transported away via a clearly visible ramp.
The strategic location above the formerly dammed Biberbach and the modeling of the terrain indicate a settlement as well as the existence of a castle that could have protected the ore mining on the opposite Eisenberg.
In the former quarry there is a quite sandy cave.
A certain "Titus" is said to have hid here before being drafted during the First World War.
