The Kammerbusch landscape garden is a worthwhile destination. Created in the middle of the 19th century by an industrial family called Schleicher who was based there at the time, you can admire various smaller buildings and ruins and, based on the memorial stones for Bismarck, Moltke and the three emperors from 1871 - 1918 as well as for the 8(!) World War I war dead of the Schleicher family, reflect on the extent to which national enthusiasm can lead to ruin.
The area fell into disrepair from the mid-1930s and was badly damaged in the Second World War (see bullet marks on the statue of Wilhem I). Ammunition and equipment (e.g. steel helmets) could still be found there in the early 1960s.
In addition, you can also enjoy the fact that since the beginning of the 21st century, the current owners and proprietors of a perennial nursery in the neighboring town of Heistern have been trying to set horticultural accents again.

The Kammerbusch landscape garden is a 50 hectare forest area near Langerwehe-Heistern. From 1851 onwards, the Schleicher family laid out paths there, placed sculptures and some ornamental buildings: Karlsburg, St. Anna Chapel, Hülsenberg Chapel, Lulu Tower, Kaiser Wilhelm Statue, Bismarck Monument, Moltke Monument, Grotto, Triumphal Arch and Hagar Temple (source: Wikipedia).
Very well-kept park with surprises around every corner.
