Shortly before the start of the village, you have a wonderful view of Corbara from this point. A visit is worthwhile for a variety of reasons. The old chapel at the highest point of the village and the magnificent view over the bays are just two of them.

„ Formerly: Corbara was founded by Guido de Sabellis in the 9th century. The latter had a castle built on a rocky promontory overlooking the sea. His son did the same, and ordered the construction of another fortification. The San Rocco chapel was built in 1607 by Count Vincenzo Savelli.

Today: Corbara is wide open to the sea, with no less than seven kilometers of coastline. Corbara is today a Mecca of Corsican tourism. However, new places of worship can be found in this town, such as the Saint-Dominique de Corbara convent, the Church of L'Annunziata built in the 17th century and classified as a Historic Monument, as well as half a dozen chapels scattered over the territory. Among them, the Notre-Dame des Sept Douleurs chapel and the Notre-Dame de Latio chapel. Guy Savelli's private museum contains many rare objects.“
