In the vicinity of the village of Stechendorf, you will find a 400-year-old lonely linden tree directly on a field and land consolidation path, which provides wonderful shade in summer and invites you to rest on a wooden bench. From here you have a beautiful view of the diagonally opposite plank stone and the Lobitze. Down in the valley, the village Stechendorf is within sight and here lives the family Hügerich, who built the shrine on the Linde in gratitude for the return of the father from the war.
