In connection with the village development measures in Völkleshofen, a 35 m deep historical well was uncovered on the private property of the Sälzer family and then the above-ground parts were rebuilt. A look into the well shaft is possible by means of lighting. The switch is in the fountain above the lamp. A little patience is required after switching on, as the headlight only slowly illuminates and shines into the depth. The fountain is approximately 200 years old.
