            Gebhardshagen is one of the 31 districts of the independent city of Salzgitter in Lower Saxony, located in the village of West.
            It is the fourth largest district in Salzgitter and is located in the city center.
            Gebhardshagen belonged to the district of Wolfenbüttel until March 31, 1942 and became part of the city of Watenstedt-Salzgitter by an administrative act on April 1, 1942.
            On January 23, 1951, this was officially renamed Salzgitter.
