The old metallurgical plant Tungestølen was destroyed in 2011 by a storm to the ground. In 2015, the architectural firm Snøhetta and the DNT submitted plans for the rebuilding (see nb-no.facebook.com/nyetungestolen.no/), which will be implemented in 2018. After completion of the cabin complex, you can spend the night in modern cabins in Scandinavian design in the middle of one of Norway's wildest romantic areas.
