The Schroevendaalse Plas, like all other Maas lakes, was created by gravel extraction. The Dilkensplas is located close to this lake, where you can relax on the beach. There is a marina at the Schroevendaalse Plas.
This marina has a transit harbour. This is for boats up to 16 metres. You can then use all the facilities that the marina and campsite have to offer. Dogs are welcome, provided they are on a leash and the owner always has a dog poop bag with them. This marina also has a trailer ramp.
On top of the dike is Brasserie de Maasterp, where you can go for a cup of coffee, lunch and an extensive dinner. From the terrace you have a beautiful view of the lake and the marina. In the autumn, the Schroevendaalse Plas is a great place to fish. There are large carp and pike. The visibility is generally good and there are many fish in the lake.
