Www.wa-wa-we.de is the website of the Wasser-Wander-Welten. There are several tours in the Maas-Schwalm-Nette area, all of which are well signposted and nice to walk.

A lot of forest in very different forms from the beech forest over pine and birch stands to the humid quarry forest is offered to the hiker. Often the way leads over narrow paths. A small pilgrimage chapel, the "Birgelener Pützchen", and relics of the west wall are on the way.

This hiking trail fascinates nature lovers at any time of the year with its diversity. Good shoes and hiking clothing are recommended for this natural trail. The Haus Wildenrath Biological Station offers interesting facts about the fascinating flora and fauna.
The Willibrordus fountain belongs to the "Birgelener Pützchen" pilgrimage chapel, and its water containing silicon is said to have healing properties. The relics of the West Wall are witnesses to history: remains of bunkers and trenches from the world wars.

Wonderful hiking trail. It should be done in small groups at most. The path is well signposted. It is worthwhile to make a detour to the Dahlheimer mill, this extends the way a good 5 km.
