Traces of wall and moat remains can still be seen in the area. This is clearly the case in the direction of Görau. Over time, it was built over and into one another several times. Archaeological digs have not yet been carried out, this could be exciting because of the Hallstatt barrows. An information board is completely missing.

So rock climbing is not one. Except for a single small, unnecessarily secured with a chain 4m ascent, it is a beautiful single trail / forest path along the mountain ridge, which, starting by the old section fortification below Görau, comes out exactly on the outer bailey of the castle ruins Niesten.
Nice to walk, no requirements, great in connection with the visit of the castle ruins, no matter in which direction.
