"Pohl is a residential area in the municipality of Kürten in the Rheinisch-Bergisch district.
The place is southeast of Bechen. The towns of Schnappe, Durhaus and Altensaal are in the vicinity. The Weyerbach flows through the village.

House Pohl
The former manor house Pohl is a moated castle that has been preserved. It was first mentioned in a document in 1443 as zo dem Poyle. The place name derives from mndd. pôl (= "pool", "swamp").
The house was the seat of the Lords of Herweg. A two-storey house with a half-hipped roof from the 17th century has been preserved. The former moats are now filled in.
The house is registered with the number 96 in the list of monuments in Kürten.

Pohler mill
A little south of Haus Pohl is the Pohler Mühle, which was powered by the Weyerbach. It probably dates from the 15th century. It was in operation until 1927 as a grain mill with an attached bakery. Today it serves as a residential building. ..."
