Here you can discover the remains of dry grasslands, old oak trees and steep clay and sand slopes. Dry specialists grow here, such as the Carthusian carnation (Dianthus carthusianorum), spring cinerea (Potentilla neumanniana) and the scabious corymblood (Centaurea scabiosa). Even the shimmering blue kingfisher (Alcedo atthis) can be discovered here with a bit of luck. He builds his nesting holes in the steep loam and sand slopes. More information about the dry grasslands and dry forests in the Sutschketal is available from summer 2018 on an information board on site.
