    The warning "Caution, alpine path" should not be ignored. At the beginning it is still a little steep uphill, but later this changes. You should be very careful where and how you run. It might be better to avoid this part when it's wet.

                  Up or down is both fun. Down a little more. ;) New steel cables with rubber coating are stretched at important points. Perfect! Surefootedness and sturdy shoes are a must. I was wearing Salewa approach shoes and my girlfriend was wearing running shoes - both went well.

                                    The trail is definitely not alpine. If you go up from the Sieg, the lower half is easily doable (but it's still a good climb). In the upper half, the trail becomes quite steep, but it remains mostly wide. There are two sections that are quite rocky and secured with ropes, but these aren't absolutely necessary.
