    It is a superb natural lake. Its waters descend directly from the Grande Motte glacier. In winter, the lake freezes and a footpath linking Tignes le Lac to Tignes Val Claret crosses it.

    Superb mountain lake, many possibilities for activities. Totally frozen in winter, many activities are offered (sled dogs, ice diving,....)

    Nice path around Lac de Tignes so much of it is exclusively for pedestrians. 1.6 km in total to go around.
