According to its own information, it is the largest reptile zoo in Germany. A small, well-kept zoo with many different species of reptiles. The terrariums are (in my opinion) big enough, varied in design and the panes are very clean (many other zoos can learn a thing or two from this).
There is the terrarium hall, the desert hall (with tables and chairs), the nocturnal animal house and the baby station (which is unfortunately closed due to the corona). Outside there is a children's playground and several enclosures with native reptiles.
The entrance fees are not cheap, but reasonable. You can see everything in 30 minutes, but you can also easily spend 2 to 3 hours in the Reptilium. A lot is done for children to get them excited about such animals. Every hour some kind of animal is presented / fed. It is very warm in the Reptilium - a T-shirt is sufficient even in winter.

As Germany's largest reptile zoo, we offer you a special kind of experience with snake presentations and feedings on an area of 3400m². Help with feeding, let spiders run over your hand or take a free photo of you and a snake home with you. In our indoor zoo you can enjoy a year-round holiday atmosphere at 25 to 30 degrees - we look forward to your visit!

Monday - Sunday
10:00 am - 6:00 pm

Our zoo is open all year round - including Sundays and public holidays. It closes at 2 p.m. on December 24th and 31st.
