In the north of Tenerife, in the most fertile region of the island, in the Oratava Valley in Puerto de la Cruz, lies one of Tenerife's main tourist attractions - Loro Park.
It is said to be one of the most beautiful zoos in the world, and certainly one of the most spectacular due to its animal shows featuring whales, dolphins, sea lions, and parrots.
The German Wolfgang Kießling founded Loro Park in 1972 as a parrot park. Over the years, Loro Park has continually expanded with additional attractions, developing into the tourist magnet in Tenerife that it is today.

Anyone who has not been here yet ... be sure to visit! The attitude of the carer with the animals is super harmonious and it does not work. The climate is wonderfully tropical and the animals can not be seen anywhere else so close by. An absolute highlight is of course the Orca show!

Action-packed show. I do not recommend sitting in the Splash Zone, because it will get you wet. I especially like that the story and the orcas are told and not just the tricks in the foreground.
