Where trains once rolled, you can now discover the area in an open observation car at the only surviving intermediate station of the former Chemnitz Valley Railway. appointments, tel. etc. can be found at chemnitztalbahn.de

At the Markersdorf-Taura museum train station, you can visit model railway shows as well as the Draisine and Diesel tractor trains during the summer months. The route leads along the Swiss valley on the banks of the Chemnitz from Markersdorf over the breakpoint Amselgrund to the end point Schweizertal-Dietensdorf.
