        Saint-Tropez is a coastal city on the French Riviera in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region of south-eastern France. Long a favorite with artists, the city attracted the international jet set in the 1960s and is still known for its beaches and nightlife. The cobblestone streets of the La Ponche neighborhood are reminiscent of its past as a fishing village, although today the Vieux Port has more yachts than fishing boats.
