The Gradl brewery in Leups has been family-owned since 1683. In the cozy dining room with a tiled stove, they serve Franconian specialties made locally and homemade snacks from their own butchery, e.g. Franconian bratwurst, smoked meat, pressed sausage and brawn. There are also freshly tapped beer specialties brewed according to a traditional family recipe, dark and pilsner. A strong Bock is also served on May 1st and at Christmas.
A covered, rustic beer garden in the brewery courtyard invites you to linger.
The beer spring hiking trail (with a total of 3 other breweries) also passes by here.
