Nice little park with pond. The pond is used as a natural swimming pool. Also a few small Böttchen are at a landing.

The Blies is located on Mundenheimer district east of the garden city and southwest of the district West. It is characterized by a peninsula and in the south by an island, is about 625 meters long and up to 250 meters wide. In total, the water surface is 8.3 hectares. It has a depth of about 15 meters at its deepest points.

To the north there is a public outdoor swimming pool, in the southeast the actual parkland extends, in the south there is a restaurant. On the west bank are some stately weeping willows and a narrow reed belt with the fishing spots of the local Anglervereins. A long way separates this bank area from the mainly with Robinien overgrown sandy embankment.

The Great Blies is above all a bathing water and a fishing waters. In addition, it is a popular recreation area for walking.
