Was built in 1909. The inventors of English landscape gardens were the inspiration here, but in the entrance area, modern elements determine the image of the park, which is decorated by a pond.
With such systems, the builder ensured the fresh air supply for the city deep in the boiler.
In the grounds, the idea of the landscape park, which has spread from England across the continent since the 18th century, comes to life again. Architectural elements can only be found at the entrance from Dürer-Straße. At the same time, the planting of the park was chosen by master horticulturist Schwarz so that the birds can breed in it: the park serves as a bird sanctuary. For this reason, too, the rear part of the park was not built on until late. Walkmühlstraße was initially only two-thirds built on until 1914 and was kept free from development well beyond this year.
