The side bay on the descent to Sa Calobra is definitely a highlight with the racing bike.
Significantly fewer cyclists and rarely a car or bus.
You turn off the main route and after a short climb to the chapel, the bay welcomes you with a magnificent panorama. On the descent you can just let it roll and on the climb back you can enjoy the mountains as well as the view of the sea. First you roll to the end of the dead end, a jetty in the blue water and a lonely beach in the shadow of the Puig Major and Tramuntana massif. To refresh yourself after a short climb, turn right to the Es Vergeret restaurant, which has one of the most beautiful terraces and a good selection of delicious cakes as well as hearty dishes. After the break, it's uphill straight away, but refreshed and with a moderate gradient back to the chapel. A short descent takes you back to the main route up to the Coll des Reis or a detour to the port of Sa Calobra, both options for the way back.
