The Stendaler Turm (also called Mühlentor) is part of the medieval town fortification of the city of Haldensleben.
The construction of the road in the direction of Stendalerbauten tower is dated to the period end of the 13th / beginning of the 14th century. Built on a rectangular ground plan of 9.10 meters by 6.45 meters, the tower contains one of the four city gates of Haldensleben. The walls of the ground floor have a thickness of 1.36 meters to 1.40 meters and are thus slightly stronger than the still largely preserved city wall with a thickness of 1.30 meters.
