Strange to see my own house described like that. I lived in that mill for almost 20 years, I did indeed do those thorough renovations at the time, but I sold it about 6 years ago. It was fantastic living there, but in the end I missed the city...

This mill is on a ridge, about 5m higher than its surroundings. The wide surroundings of the mill have been protected as a village scene since 21/05/1984. The adjacent valley of the Oude Kale is also recognized as an exceptional area of tranquility. A large part is a nature reserve and is owned or managed by Natuurpunt.
