Mountain up and down not for the faint of heart 😅.
The name probably comes from the fact that the paper mill on the Selke was supplied by rags from the region who were brought down the way into the valley🤪

Nice descent into the Selketal. Next to the path you will find some rather large anthills. You rarely see it. Once at the bottom I recommend a visit to the "Zum Falken" restaurant.

The Lumpenstieg is steep, but so you quickly gain the required altitude to get from Selketal to Ackeburg with HWN 204 "Selkesicht".
