The Pukhovichi District Museum of Local Lore was founded in 1968 as a school museum in the village of Dukora, since 1969 as a folk museum, and in 1974 as a state museum. The organizer and first director was V.N. Whistler.
Since 1993, the museum is located in the agricultural town of Blonie in the manor house of the educator A.V. Bonch-Osmolowski, where the expositions were created: "Life and activity of educators Bonch-Osmolowski"; "People's life of the region"; "Settlements of Pukhovichchyna"; “In the years of hardship. War ”; "Famous people of the region"; "Literary Pukhovichchyna"; "GA Bonch-Osmolovsky Memorial Room".
Here is an archeological collection of excavations of settlements, materials about compatriots - participants of various events, tools and household items, the interior of a peasant house, tools for manual processing of flax, straw weaving, wood carvings, embroidery, photo documents, books, personal belongings of famous people edge. The museum presents the works of writers and poets - natives of Pukhovichi and those who were related to this region.
