The mill dates from the 15th century and belonged to the Seigneurie du Hénan. It works thanks to the ebb and flow of the river subject to the tides and constitutes a historic monument of great beauty. The cut stones are imposing and come from the Kerochet quarry located one kilometer further down the river. The roof is original: it is a hipped roof with a break which indicates that the roof was originally thatched.

On the Hénan site, on the banks of the Aven and along the GR 34, you will discover a 15th century tide mill which belonged to the Seigneurie du Hénan. The imposing cut stones come from the Kerochet quarry, located 1 km further down the river. The roof is original: it is a four-sided roof with a break which indicates that the roof was originally thatched.
