Together with the Azure Window, which collapsed in 2017, the Dwejra Tower, the Blue Hole and the Fungus Rock, the inland lake is one of the main attractions of Gozo. Day tourists in particular can easily reach this place by bus, all local attractions are within walking distance . Around 750,000 tourists visit this place every year, so it can be very crowded in summer. You can swim, snorkel and dive in the lake and in the tunnel. The local fishermen offer boat trips from the pier on the lake through the Inland Sea Tunnel to Fungus Rock when the weather is calm. The Luzzu boats typical of Malta are used here. These trips represent an important source of income for the fishermen. The lake, the tunnel and the surrounding Mediterranean Sea is one of the most popular diving areas on the island of Gozo.

It deserves absolutely both for the "swimming pool" itself and for the path on the cliff that is used to reach it, it offers fantastic views.
I recommend good closed shoes if you intend to visit the rocky area.
To take advantage of the diving, the place can be reached by public transport, taxi and of course by own means.
