In the forest between Pławno and Stary Kaleńskie, in the Świerczyna forest district, there is an unusual place related to the history of ancient Europe. The stones arranged in regular circles intrigued foresters in 2014. The employees of the Museum in Koszalin, led by the archaeologist Andrzej Kasprzak, who became the content supervisor of the site, arrived at the site. It turned out that the stone circles near Pławno (and four of them have been discovered to date) is a unique place. The work currently carried out on the site consists mainly in exposing stones and boulders forming circles and examining the area in order to confirm skeletal and crematory burials.
