Near Ovindoli there is Valle d'Arano, an ancient lake basin, originated by the river La Foce which has created the Gole di Celano-Aielli, a beautiful natural canyon with steep walls and also tens of meters high. In the valley develops a ring (5 km) that can be traveled in all seasons of the year: on foot, on horseback, on mountain bikes, on snowshoes and cross-country skis. The total travel time walking is about 2 hours also by trollers for families
