Modeled after the giant egg of a tern, the Tji Bird Observatory is nested in a willow twig nest in the Haringvliet Nature Reserve. Behind the cracks in the egg lies a vast cavity made of artfully crafted wooden struts, from where you can observe the diverse birdlife of the Haringvliet in all directions. A truly exceptional place.

Navigation address: Deltahaven 69, Stellendam
You can park for free at the parking lot of the Stellendam marina, the path starts from the parking lot
Dogs are not allowed to and in the bird observatory (not even on a leash)
The walking path (where you will also encounter a staircase) and Tij itself are not accessible with a wheelchair/walker, because the observatory is located outside the dike on the Haringvliet
