Go back in time at Museum Farm Het Hofshuus and experience life in the countryside in the first half of the last century. The utensils collected here are 'taken from life' and show how people worked and lived on the farm. Experience history in the beautiful yard with old crops. With a visit to this museum farm, forgotten memories from the lives of your (great) grandparents come back to life.

The first mention of Het Hofshuus can be found in an inventory list from 1605: "no house but a stick of huts", which probably points to the turbulent period in the Eighty Years' War in which Het Hofshuus apparently fell. In 1625 there is another report of a "huis en shovel". The mud walls were replaced by brick walls in 1872. At least, we can assume that since that year is scratched into the sill of the seed hatch in the front facade. Add this beautiful museum to your cycling route and immerse yourself in farming history.
