Dimensions: length of 375 m, minimum width of 80 m and depth of 1.5 m The length of the quay wall is 880 m 1922-1934: Founding of the harbor as a marina of Ostende with ninety moorings, the lock and ditch follow in conjunction with the first Trading dock, which is also set up as a hunting bowl (see Vindictivelaan). Since the first quarter of the twentieth century, North Sea Yacht Club was implanted in the north-east corner, first a wooden building, replaced in 1952-1956 by a design by architects J. Maes and W. Marchal.
