The transition over this branch of the Amper is currently mostly flooded. The current can also be very strong. Cross only with extreme caution. If the current is too strong, it is better to turn around and take the detour via Moosburg / Isar or Wang / Volkmannsdorf. Safety is paramount.

Today on 05/21/23 the bridge is impassable. The water is raging and the concrete floor is covered with slippery algae.

Crossing over a tributary of the Amper. Sometimes flooded, so approach with caution. It is better not to cross if there is flooding or a strong current.

6.7.2024: Amperdurchbruch is currently not passable. Parts of the path have been washed away and the water is still very high. The bridge railing is gone, the bridge itself is badly damaged (not very visible at the moment). When the water recedes, the bridge and the path will probably have to be repaired first.
