              The wildlife park Schwentinental is free and very beautiful! The wildlife park also includes a natural section along the Schwentine, where the name really says it all: all sorts of birds cavort here and gnarled old trees line the banks. The E1 also runs through the middle of the zoo on this section. The wildlife park also includes some bird aviaries, wild boars, various breeds of sheep, cattle and more. Next door is a large playground, mini golf course and an outdoor pool. It's really nice to explore everything and to observe the animals - and the fact that the E1 long-distance hiking trail runs through the middle of the zoo is all the nicer.
