the climb from Prata to USchione is short but very tough with gradients always in the double digits and ups and downs even around 20%. The small village of Uschione, however, is certainly worth the effort made to get there. There is only one refreshment point. If you want, from Uschione the small paved road continues halfway up the mountain for a few km still in the middle of the woods with continuous ups and downs but without the slopes of before. Access to motorized vehicles can only take place upon issuing a permit so the passage of cars is rare but attention must be paid especially in blind spots as the road is very narrow.
