This grain windmill on the outskirts of the town center of Rees was built around 1849 and has been in the family for 150 years. Almost 40 years after its closure, the mill was reopened after extensive renovations. Since then, grain has been ground here for the production of Reeser mill bread and mill schnapps. Visit the mill on the occasion of the "German Milling Day" every year on Whit Monday, as part of a guided tour or make an appointment for private individuals or groups.
