If you are on Crete you have to see Knossos.
Guided tours quite expensive (in addition to the entrance fee), but you can also do Knossos without a guide. On days when there is not much going on, the guides will even agree to half the price.
Even the guides openly doubt the authenticity of the site, but not everything came from Arthur Evans' imagination.
After our tour, I went through the facility again for photos and saw other tours. Other guides sometimes tell different details.

Admission €15, free for children. Multilingual guides are in the entrance area and offer tours for €20p. P. + entry on. Information panels on the entire site unfortunately only in Greek or English.
