The medicinal plant garden of WALA Heilmittel GmbH, manufacturer of the anthroposophic WALA medicines and Dr. Hauschka Cosmetics, attracts many visitors to the WALA headquarters in Bad Boll every year. Around 150 medicinal plants thrive here on around 2.3 hectares of cultivated land. The main purpose of the Demeter-certified garden is to supply the adjoining plant laboratory with medicinal plants of the desired WALA quality, thus ensuring the production of many of the around 900 different WALA medicinal products.

The WALA gardeners do everything on their own. They cultivate around 30 to 40 different cultures, collect their own seeds, plant and harvest themselves - they grow around 25,000 young plants themselves. Seeds are only bought in in a few exceptional cases.

WALA offers guided tours through its medicinal plant garden. For the participation fee you will receive a shopping voucher for the Dr. Hauschka shop in Bad Boll. All Dr. Hauschka products can be tested and purchased.
