Due to extensive renovation work, the Retschengraben Bridge on the K 6561 near Witznau will be closed to traffic, including cyclists and pedestrians, for three to four months. The full closure begins on Monday, February 22, 2021.

During the full closure, the K 6561 is closed to traffic on both sides of the Retschengraben Bridge. Coming from Nöggenschwiel, Häuser and Schwarzabruck, the K 6561 is closed from the Witznau reservoir (Schwarza reservoir). The Witznau power plant can still be accessed via the L 157.

20240720 Update: The bridge is currently closed (renovation). A detour is signposted. The road at the power station itself is closed due to a (fairly massive) quarry. However, it can be bypassed on foot.
