The entry from Berdorf where the caves are and from there it goes into the breathtaking gorge is by far the most beautiful path I have taken so far....you immerse yourself in another world....a journey to different continents....and create a film set there....First it goes to Thailand....when the rock massifs appear along the side of the path you think of Saxon Switzerland, then the vegetation takes you on a journey to Canada...and this for many kilometers...streams that accompany you again and again, small ponds...breathtaking views of rock massifs....beautiful forests overgrown with flags and plants like a jungle....mostly it is just on narrow paths through the labyrinth and through narrow crevices in the rocks that you can just about get through. Lots of natural steps, small wooden bridges that you cross. It won't be the last time I've been there...I was worried that a lot of people would go hiking there, and I was pleasantly surprised by how few people I saw...just a perfect hiking paradise.....
