Frankfurt / Oder has had a wildlife park since June 2000. This has been operated by the Gronenfeld workshops since 2006. All essential work in the wildlife park is carried out by people with disabilities.
The Frankfurt / Oder Wildlife Park is home to over 300 animals on an area of 16 hectares. You can see aurochs, squirrels, ferrets, pheasants, foxes, rabbits, ponies, guinea pigs, sheep, parrots and goats. Many animal species move freely in the wildlife park. There is also a pond landscape, a petting zoo and a small beekeeping facility. The wildlife park school has many great offers for school classes and kindergarten groups, whereby the kids can learn a lot about the forest and the animals. Families with children are not neglected in the wildlife park. In addition to the many animals that you can watch and feed here, there are two playgrounds where you can take a break. For feeding, you can buy haycobs in buckets at the cash desk or bring carrots and root vegetables with you.
