In the beginning there was the word, ..... But at the beginning of our hikes through Lipnice nad Sázavou there was not a word, but a MOUTH. A large "mouth of truth" carved into granite rock.

This work, almost three meters high, was created during the spring and summer of 2006. It was unveiled on September 7 of this year and its creator was inspired by the relief of the Bocca della Verita (translated: Mouth of Truth) in the vestibule of the Church of Santa Maria in Cosmedin in Rome.
