In the center of Haar around Kirchenstrasse and Bahnhofsstrasse, things are quite tidy. On the one hand, there is the large Konrad Church from 1932/33 (it looks older), which has replaced or supplemented the old parish church of St. Nicholas. The Gasthof zur Post has a nice, hedge-covered beer garden with a rotunda fountain. Behind it is the large town house with a small and large ballroom. On the large square next to the music and adult education center there are some modern art installations that attract the attention of the visitor.

Addition: the inn has now reopened. I hope the beer garden will also be open again in the summer.

The Gasthof Post and the beer garden are closed until at least 2023, depending on how long the renovation work takes. Maybe at least the beer garden will open in the summer.
I'm curious to see whether the next innkeepers will serve a similarly down-to-earth and good meal as the Dabernikes family has managed to do over the last few decades.
