In the idyllic Swabian Donaumoos near Günburg, about 20 km east of Ulm, you will find the ostrich farm Donaumoos - one of Germany's largest ostrich farms. On the 80 hectare agricultural mixed farm have about 400-500 chicks and young ostriches and about 30 Zuchtstraußen any amount of space and best care to feel comfortable.

The ostrich

The ostrich (Struthio camelus) is an African bird of passage. In the wild, it mainly inhabits the African steppe in South Africa and Namibia.
